Winning the last home match

Our season tickets were great this year. We get to see some close up action as Lech Poznan never lost a match in the second half of the season. (We won't discuss the first half-ha!) I really think is classy for the team to applaud the fans after the match...maybe the Steelers will start doing once the fans learn to do "the Poznan!"

We lose the Poland Cup to the hated Wisła, and some curry

Well Lech Poznan had some cool digs for the match last night. Retro to 1970ish, I need one of these shirts. Oh and another thing almost scoring goals doesn't win anything...crap! Oh did I say Chuck Norris advertises for our Polish bank?

Last Friday at TGIF, closing at Galaria Malta: crap

When we first arrived in the apartment over two years ago the nearest pub was a half mile walk to the mall. Inside, to my surprise, was a TGIF. It became my favorite pub in all the land, but not because it was an American 'icon' but because of the people. My new love for soccer/futbol was born at the TGIF bar, and Lois enjoys it too. Chicken wings were great and the burgers the best. It closed on February 5; most of the people scattered throughout Poznan so now we have a great number of favorite pubs. In fact the Whiskey Soup is from The Dubliner!
