Ice Ice Baby and lunch


At minus one centigrade today's visit to watch the ice sculpture contest was daunting! My lunch with the golfing family was very warm and nice...with the exception of the "Ed, you must try the fish of the river...we call it the eel. I think in the US you say snake! Have some..." Well you know what I call it??? I ordered salmon; very grand! And the snake tasted like chicken with a white sauce.

This is a skull from the team from the USA. The Polish guys were calling the guy with the beard 'talliban.' I don't think he liked it.

    I would've ordered the salmon as well. After all I'm a bloody Scots-Irishman.
